Skyscraper Picture Close-Up / Skyscraper Picture Collection / Castles/Schlösser / Motor Racing Pictures

For more than a decade, from 1997 - 2008, I travelled around the world to photograph cities and their skyscrapers.
In all these years, I travelled to 22 countries and over 65 cities on four different continents.
I flew for almost 550 hours and landed on and departed from 51 airports around the world in 125 flights.
On this website you can find the legacy of all this travelling: the pictures I took at these occasions.

In the Skyscraper Picture Collection section you can find pictures I took from 1997 until early 2006,
mostly city related. In the 2^nd part of 2006 and 2007, I concentrated on taking pictures of individual skyscrapers.
You can find these pictures in the Skyscraper Picture Close-Up section, although some
city pictures (Hong Kong and Frankfurt) can be found there as well.

At the end of 2008, due to personal and financial matters, I started to pursue other interests. And I stopped taking pictures of skyscrapers
In the meantime, this website only had some updates in the Motor-Racing section,which you can find elsewhere on this website.
In the Spring of 2012, I started to take architectural pictures again,
but this time NOT of contemporary architecture. Instead I have started to take pictures of historical buildings, more specifically castles and palaces,
that can be found in the wonderful country of Germany.
And last but not least, there is a page with pictures of another kind:
Motor-racing ones, taken at Formula 1, GP2, Formula 2, Formula 3000 and many other series
These pages are divided in two sections: one with recent pictures
and one with pictures I took from 1981-1997.
