Above: Jean-Denis Délétraz in his GDBA Formula 3000 Lola at Zolder in 1988.

Délétraz made his way to the top of motor-sport through Formula 3 and Formula 3000.
He drove F3000 from 1988-1991. The last two years as a team owner as well,
after he had bought the team he was driving for (First Racing).
Délétraz got his Formula 1 drives because of the money he brought along.
In 1994 he drove one race for Larrousse and in 1995 two for Pacific.
After that his F1 career was over, but it is fair to say,
that Délétraz has been relatively successful in sportscars and GT racing.
