Teo never really made it in Formula 1, although he was quick, especially on a single lap.
In his Formula 1 career he achieved three pole-positions in more or less inferior cars.
Teo was more succesful in America where he raced Indycars.
He won five races and finished 2nd in the championship in 1983.
Teo retired from racing in 1995 at the age of 40 .
