He finished 6th in the race and 5th in the championship (middle),
Bertrand in the Jordan at the Hungaroring in 1991 (right).
This turned out to be his last race in the Jordan, since he was sentenced to jail in England not long after.
This jail sentence meant that he lost his seat and that an unknown talent named Michael Schumacher
could step in for Gachot at Spa-Francorchamps… The rest is motor-racing history.

Two races later the team switched to the old car with the Ford engine.
This time they made it through pre-qualifying, but never qualified once for a Grand Prix in 1990 (right).
