Bruno Giacomelli had spent a couple of marginally successful years in Formula 1 at the end of the Seventies
and early Eighties, when he made a surprise comeback in 1990 with the debuting Life Racing Engines team.
It was a complete disaster with Bruno not pre-qualifying once for the 12 races he was entered.
After this debacle, Bruno faded into motor-sport obscurity.
