Nakano is another Japanese driver who never really made it in Formula 1.
In 33 Grand Prix he only scored two points.
After he lost his place in F1, he went to the United States,
where he raced CART-Indy from 2000-2002,
only doing slightly better than in Formula 1,
scoring a 4th place as best result.
Shinji now races in Japan again, in GT and touring cars.
