A look back in photographs to 10 different years of Motor-Racing history:
1981, 1982, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1997.

at Spa-Francorchamps (left), and at Hockenheim (middle and right) in 1991.

Paul Stewart is the son of three-times World Champion Jackie Stewart.
Paul stepped into the footsteps of his father, and as a vehicle for his ambitions
he founded PSR (Paul Stewart Racing) together with his father, from the remnants of another team.
PSR has since then won over 119 races and 12 different championships,
and has helped youngsters such as David Coulthard, Dario Franchitti and Gil de Ferran
on their way to the top of motor-sport, be it in Formula 1 or CART-Indy.

Paul himself drove Formula 3000 for PSR in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Without much success.
In three seasons he only scored 13 points, with one podium finish (3rd, Pau 1993).
At the end of 1993, 28 years old, he retired from racing, to focus on managing PSR.
In 1997, Stewart entered Formula 1 as managing-director with the Stewart Formula 1 team.
He stayed with the team as chief operating officer after the team was sold to Ford
and was named Jaguar. But halfway through 2000 Paul Stewart was forced to resign
when it was discovered he had cancer, but luckily the disease seems beaten.
