Some Japan Center facts & figures:

- The office building was designed by Ganz + Rolfes.
- Construction started in 1994; it was completed in 1996.
- The building is the result of an international architectural competition
staged by Jowa Corp. Ltd., Tokyo, in cooperation with the City of Frankfurt.
- Japan Center has a Coffee bar on the ground floor; a restaurant (The Windows 25)
is located on the 25th floor, some 100 metres above the ground.
Also located inside the building is a discotheque.
- Total gross floor area of the building is 26,022 sq.m (280,100 sq.f).
- Building construction costs were about 280 million DM (about 140 million euro).
