Kaohsiung is the second largest city of Taiwan (behind Taipei) and has the country's largest seaport.
In fact, the city even has the world's 4th largest container port.
Kaohsiung, which has a population of over 1.7 million, is a very lively city, with a good night life,
many shopping opportunities, but also a lot of nature in the area and of course some great architecture!

Including the spire on top - which isn't part of the architectural design - the building has a height of 378m/1,240f.
The building is currently the city's main landmark, which just can't be missed.
Until the end of 2003, Tuntex Sky Tower was Taiwan's tallest, but it lost this title
when Taipei's 509 metres tall
Taipei 101 was topped out.
The building is partly in use as office and residential. It also houses a. It has an observatory deck as well,
which can be entered through one of the fastest elevators in the world.

The building was Taiwan's tallest from 1992-1993 and Kaohsiung's tallest from 1992-1997.
