Miami Beach is the city that lies east of Miami and is separated from Miami
and the mainland by Biscayne Bay. It has some 89,000 inhabitants.
The very first home on Miami Beach was built in 1886, while in 1915 the City of Miami Beach was founded.
Slowly the city has grown to what it is today, one that is mostly famous for its beaches.
Those beaches and the fine Floridian weather attract many visitors each year from all around the world.
In the past few years, Miami Beach has become home to quite a few (residential) high-rises as well.
Many more are being planned and will be built in Miami Beach in the near future.
