Munich is Germany’s third tallest city (behind Berlin
and Hamburg) and has 1,35 million inhabitants.
It is the capital of the German state of Bavaria (Bayern) and is located on the
River Isar.
The city was founded around 1150, and has a rich historical and cultural past.
One of the most recent historical facts are the Olympic Games, that were held
here in 1972.
Skyscraper wise the city cannot be compared to Frankfurt,
but the city has a few noteworthy high-rises. Most of these you will find on
this page.
Unfortunately, not all of Munich’s tallest, but at least the most important
ones.
