Westpoint Tower facts & figures:
- the tallest building of the city of Tilburg,
and the tallest residential tower in The Netherlands.
- designed by Margriet Eugelink (Van Aken Architektuur).
- the tower has
eight different types of apartments (sale and rent),
all named after famous Dutch painters from the past:
Piet Mondriaan (3-room)
apartments, situated on the floors 5, 6, 8 and 9;
Pieter Breugel (3-room) apartments, situated on the
floors 5, 6, 8, and 9 as well;
Peter Paul Rubens (3-room) apartments, situated on the floors 8 and 9;
Frans Hals (3-room) apartments,
situated on the floors 7, 12, 17, 22 and 27;
Johan Vermeer (3-room) apartments, situated on the floors 10, 11, 13, 14, 15,
16, 23, 24, 25, and 26.
Karel Appel (4-room) apartments, situated on the floors 18, 19,
20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 32, 34, 39, 40, 41, and 46;
Rembrandt van Rijn (4-room) apartments, situated on
the floors 31, 33, 36 and 37;
Vincent van Gogh (5-room) apartments, situated on the floors 35, 38, 42, 43,
44, 45, and 47.
In total, Westpoint has 156 luxurious
apartments.
- the tower is part of the Westpoint
complex which also consists of a smaller wing,
called Westpoint Wing (36m/118f, 11 stories, 2003).
- The vertical and horizontal concrete elements of the
raster at the front and the back of the tower
are painted in different colours. At night, lights in different colours
decorate the tower.
